Aid organizations mobilize to provide relief for Horn of Africa crisis

InterAction members are providing aid to displaced peoples and those suffering from extreme food and water shortages in the Horn of Africa during what is being called the worst drought in 60 years. 

The crisis is at its worse in parts Ethiopia and Somalia, where extreme malnutrition rates for children entering refugee camps are hovering at around 50 percent. The crisis has been worsened by the region’s persistent conflict.
