Discuss foreign aid, budget with experts on Twitter chat

The budget. Sequestration. The deficit. Lots of talk, and numbers, are flying around Washington right now. What does it all mean for international aid? Find out from the people who know, during a live Twitter chat Wednesday, March 27 organized by InterAction.

Policy staff from the NGOs Mercy Corps, Refugees International, Thousand Days and World Vision will take your questions on foreign assistance topics. Each organization will tackle key issues their organizations work on: climate change, crises, refugees, food security and nutrition. Learn how life-saving programs abroad could be affected by the latest budget talks at home, and act to urge Congress to protect these critical programs.

The panelists are @bobzachritz (World Vision), @AliceRThomas (Refugees International), @jennrigg (Thousand Days) and @AnnVaughan1 (Mercy Corps). InterAction, an alliance of 180-plus U.S.-based nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), will be moderating from @interactionorg.
