Forum 2013 Workshops Deadline Nears

InterAction is seeking proposals from individuals interested in holding workshops at this year's Forum, an annual gathering of 1,000 professionals from the NGO, government, corporate and philanthropic sectors.

The three-day event—from April 29-May 1 in Crystal City, Virginia—will include about 45 workshops on a variety of current topics relevant to the NGO sector. This year InterAction will be showcasing workshops in a few themes designed to highlight some of the most pressing issues facing the NGO community. These themes are: Working with the Private Sector, Linking Relief and Development, Shaping the Humanitarian/Development Future, and U.S. Government and NGO Relations.

Proposals for workshop topics outside these themes also will be seriously considered. Proposals that promote a specific program, organization or commercial product will not be considered.

All interested parties can submit a workshop proposal via email to workshops@interaction.org by the Nov. 15 deadline. Registration to attend Forum 2013 opens Nov. 30.
