GOP presidential debates tonight on foreign policy
Tonight, Republican presidential candidates will debate on CNN about foreign policy and national security. To submit questions for this debate, use the form on CNN.com or submit them via Twitter with the hashtag #CNNDebate.
Ahead of tonight’s debate, CNN.com has published an op-ed by InterAction President & CEO Samuel A. Worthington supporting foreign assistance and asks the candidates to evaluate foreign assistance with the same criteria that American families are using on their own budgets:
“In Tuesday's GOP debate being aired on CNN, I urge the presidential candidates not to dismiss the lifesaving work done overseas by nonprofit organizations such as those I represent. Not only is helping others part of this country's moral fabric, but it also makes fiscal sense for the United States and, thus, for voters' wallets.”
Read the full op-ed, “Foreign aid makes fiscal sense,” on CNN.com, and tune in tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on CNN or CNN.com/Live to view the debates.
