InterAction and the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) are pleased to announce a new partnership dedicated to generating and disseminating knowledge that contributes to the effectiveness of the development community.InterAction and 3ie share a commitment to improving development effectiveness. Our partnership will help InterAction members understand and conduct impact evaluations and benefit - through better program design and policy arguments - from other impact evaluation findings. We encourage you to get involved as the specifics unfold:
- learn more about Impact Evaluation at the 3ie resources page;
- submit proposals for 3ie funding of impact studies of their interventions or for small proposal preparation grants;
- participate in InterAction’s annual Forum, to be held in July 2009, during which we will include sessions on development effectiveness and impact evaluation;
- participate (or support a partner's participation) in 3ie’s forthcoming conference "Perspectives on Impact Evaluation" (Cairo - March 29 to April 2); and
- learn more about InterAction's own Evaluation and Program Effectiveness Working Group, and specifically the virtual meeting series on impact evaluation already underway.
