According to the UN, the fighting in eastern Libya may have internally displaced tens of thousands and disrupted basic services and supply lines. Over 335,000 people have fled the country since the crisis began.

Concrete information about the humanitarian situation is difficult to come by, as aid workers are being restricted from most areas in the country. A shortage of medical supplies has made prices skyrocket, and most medical staff have left the country, leaving a few running “intensive care units.”
