MEMBER NEWS: ONE names new president & CEO, Michael Elliott

InterAction member ONE has announced that Michael Elliott will take the helm as president & CEO, effective August 1. ONE board member Joshua Bolten has been acting as interim CEO.

Elliott, a journalist and editor, has spent the last 10 years holding various leadership positions with Time Inc. In his new position with ONE, he will oversee global operations for the advocacy organization from his Washington, D.C., office.

"I'm honored and thrilled to be joining an organization that has already done so much in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable diseases," said Elliott in a statement. "For years, I've watched ONE's founders and leaders do amazing, vital work, and I couldn't be more proud to be joining them and ONE's millions of dedicated members."
