TODAY: USAID hosts special event “Open for Questions: Crisis in the Horn of Africa”
Today at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time, USAID will host an event called “Open for Questions: Crisis in the Horn of Africa,” where the public can send in their questions about the Horn of Africa crisis and what’s being done to respond to the drought.
USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah and Special Assistant to the President & Senior Director of the National Security Council Gayle Smith will answer questions during the livestreamed event about the famine, global response and what individuals can do to help. Here’s how you can participate:
