A growing number humanitarian organizations from within the InterAction alliance are responding to the devastating February 27 earthquake in Chile. The Government of Chile is reporting that over 700 people have lost their lives. Towns near Concepcion, including the capital city of Santiago, have sustained significant damage.

InterAction has developed guidelines on the most appropriate ways to help those affected by overseas disasters.
