The International Labor Organization released its annual report this week, “Global Employment Trends 2012,” and announced that the world must create 600 million jobs in the next decade to meet needs and create growth. 

Currently, a global employment backlog affects 200 million people, but an additional 400 million jobs will be needed within 10 years.  The largest affected group are youth between the ages of 15-24, which currently accounts for 75 million unemployed.
