International Relief Teams's Response to Horn Of Africa Drought Crisis
Operational Summary:
International Relief Teams (IRT) is supporting partner NGO medical personnel onsite with shipments and purchases of medicines and food. IRT has already delivered $3.4 million in medicines, and more than 15 tons of Plumpy Nut bars and Plumpy supplement bars to refugee camps on the Somalian-Ethiopian border and the Somalian-Kenya border. IRT is planning to send an additional $4 million in medicines within the next 2 months.
