Medical Emergency Relief International, USA (Merlin)'s Response to Crisis in Ivory Coast and Liberia
Operational Summary:
Merlin is currently operating a six month emergency health care program for Ivory Coast refugees in Grand Gedeh and Maryland, Liberia, counties which border Ivory Coast. Focusing on women and children (which is over half the refugees) Merlin is offering essential health care including medicine, vaccinations – incl. measles, polio, TB, Hep B and DPT, psychosocial support, monitoring nutrition rates and health education. Donations would be greatly appreciated so that Merlin are able to support and expand their essential healthcare work.
