Mennonite Central Committee U.S.'s Response to Syria Crisis

MCC’s response with partner organizations in the region (Syria, Lebanon and Jordan) includes providing vital supplies to meet food, medical and shelter needs, and training to help organizations respond to escalating tensions. Material resources distributed in all three countries include relief, hygiene and school kits, blankets medicine, milk powder, and diapers. In Syria, MCC provides training in humanitarian response. In Jordan, peacebuilding training addresses tensions among host communities and displaced people. In Lebanon, MCC supports bridge-building activities in high-tension regions, training to help agencies coordinate their work better, and health education.
