Plan International USA's Response to Horn Of Africa Drought Crisis

Thanks to our donors, Plan has raised over $6.2 million to date and continues to respond to the situation in East Africa where severe drought, combined with other factors, put millions of children and adults at risk of starvation. Our teams are working with families, communities, and local partners on interventions such as water treatment, medicine, therapeutic and supplementary feeding, shelter, livelihood support, and hygiene promotion. While the immediate crisis has ended, Plan is monitoring the situation and is also focusing on longer-term needs such as child protection, conflict management, and peace building.
