ChildFund Indonesia and its community based partners are currently conducting a rapid needs assessment to determine the needs of children and families in Padang. The results of the assessment will focus ChildFund Indonesia's response efforts working in close coordination with the local government and local partners to ensure that the well-being of children and their families in this area is being addressed. ChildFund has staff ready to mobilize in the Padang area based on the assessed needs in collaboration with the local government officials. ChildFund International is accepting donations to the ChildAlert Emergency Fund to help affected children, their families and local communities affected by this natural disaster.
