ACTED has a long term presence in Haiti, with a Capital office in Port au Prince and four field offices, a team of 6 international staff and 100 national staff implementing emergency and developpement activities throughout the country. For the current earthquake crisis, the organization is launching a primary emergency response targeting most affected areas of Port au Prince and neighbouring areas, focused on Water and sanitation, Food assistance, Emergency shelter, Health and Protection of most vulnerable community members, women and children.
