In response to two major earthquakes in two days that have devastated Indonesia’s Sumatra Province, Project HOPE is reaching out to its extensive network of corporate partners to explore opportunities to gather medicines and medical supplies to distribute to individuals and families in need. In addition, Project HOPE’s Indonesia-based staff is in communication with the country’s Ministry of Health. When the Ministry of Health has completed its assessment of the situation and prepared a “needs” list of medicines and medical supplies, it will share the list with Project HOPE and other relief organizations.
