InterAction
Members Accepting Material Donations
Some InterAction
members accept certain material donations for international disasters.
These organizations are a good place to start the planning process for
a material donation. Remember to contact them before you begin collections.
If you are looking to make
a material donation for a specific disaster, you can start by reviewing
InterAction Members Respond: How
You Can Help. These lists identify InterAction members that
are responding to particular crises and give information on their activities.
While most of these agencies accept only cash donations, the activity
section of these lists may identify some members that are accepting
material donations for that crisis.
If the disaster for which you
would like to make a material donation is not included in these lists,
or if none of the agencies listed report that they are accepting material
donations for that disaster, you could also contact the agencies listed
below. These agencies are InterAction members that routinely accept material
donations. However, it is important to remember that not all donated materials
are needed by each organization for every disaster, because victims' needs
will depend on the particular crisis. You should therefore always contact
these agencies before shipping any material to them.
As InterAction members, the
agencies listed below certify adherence to InterAction's
PVO Standards.
