This presentation will share the preliminary results of a mini-campaign Mercy Corps is doing on hunger. The model we are using is a "low threshold" model suitable for organizations with limited resources to devote to campaigning, but with a desire to more fully engage supporters for the dual purpose of improving political outcomes of "inside the beltway" advocacy and also building more meaningful relationships with donors. This presentation will discuss how we decided to take this approach, how we organized the campaign, and the results we have seen in terms of both donations and political impact.
