Originally developed as part of InterAction's Africa Liaison Program Inititiative (ALPI) to foster relationships between the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and nongovernmental organizations in the U.S. and Africa, the Ensuring Successful Partnerships Toolkit includes: a list of recommended commitments for organizations to make before beginning the partnership assessment process; the principles necessary to build and sustain successful partnerships; and an actual partnership assessment tool.
