CARE USA launched the first iteration of its grassroots advocacy program a decade ago with the goal of forming a nationwide network of advocates interested in improving women’s health and the lives of families around the world.  Over the years, we have expanded our focus to tackle all issues related to CARE's overseas work and developed innovative approaches to recruiting, educating and mobilizing advocates around the country. This presentation will review the current status of CARE's grassroots advocacy program, including the impact we have had on federal legislation related to fighting global poverty.
