The Position Statement on Demonstrating NGO Effectiveness provides a common foundation of principles and standards for the InterAction community. It was prepared by InterAction’s Working Group on Evaluation and Program Effectiveness and approved by the InterAction Board of Directors on September 20, 2005. This statement affirms InterAction members’ commitment to bringing about meaningful changes in people’s lives through programs in international development and relief, and addresses the importance of demonstrating the effectiveness of our work the NGO community, stakeholders and the broader public.
