Summary
In response to the administration’s December 2009 Pakistan Assistance Strategy Report, InterAction members applaud the U.S. government’s continued long-term commitment to civilian assistance in Pakistan but remain concerned about how it intends to implement its aid package there. We urge the administration to consider the recommendations outlined below to ensure that U.S. assistance will accountably and effectively address humanitarian and development needs.
