Knowing how to do tasks is great. Knowing how to influence other people to respond to you, to share information, and to see your value in the workplace – that’s priceless. In this workshop, learn from the research about influence through the practical lens of how to move issues forward or influence your colleagues’ behavior. As a supervisor, this is important to think through with your team. And even if you are not in a management or supervisory position in your organization, you can use your every-day good work to reduce complexity for your boss, do it in ways that get noticed and recognized, and put yourself in a better position to influence areas you care about. This is also a great chance to network with other young professionals and colleagues in the InsideNGO membership, and you will hear about some of InsideNGO’s upcoming activities.
This half-day workshop will be led by Maureen MacCarthy who is a frequent InsideNGO trainer with an engaging and lively style that you will thoroughly enjoy. You won’t want to miss this event and contribute to your professional and career development!
