Samuel A. Worthington, President & CEO of InterAction, will address the participants at the 24th Annual Meeting of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). Mr. Worthington will speak on "NGO Security: Managing Risk in a Changing World" during an open press event on Wednesday, November 18.
Established by Secretary Shultz in 1985, the OSAC is a public/private partnership to foster cooperation and the exchange of security information between the U.S. Government and the U.S. private sector operating overseas. Currently, more than 6,700 constituent organizations participate in OSAC including businesses, religious groups, universities and colleges, and other non-governmental organizations.
In addition to Mr. Worthington, other speakers at the event will include Secretary of State Hilary Clinton (via video message) and Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security Eric Boswell.
