Join InterAction’s social media team for a conversation about using social media to support your organization’s work and influence decision-makers. They will talk about some of InterAction’s recent endeavors and open up to a discussion about how to best use social media. During the 2013 InterAction Forum, nearly 100 young professionals from throughout the InterAction community gathered to engage with sector leadership and to learn from each other. The participants in the first annual Young Professional’s Summit of the Forum were introduced to cutting edge innovations in the sector, interacted with NGO CEOs and were challenged as future leaders. The closing session of the day was a collaborative conversation among young professionals. The group discussed issues, shared stories and started to chart a path forward for young professionals in the international development space. These events are an initial response to the needs of the young professional community that were identified at that event. Our goal is to provide opportunities for inexpensive professional development that is convenient and accessible to any interested participants.
