Haiti Aid Map
New Partnership Between Public and Private Sectors
InterAction, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Business Civic Leadership Center and with funding from FedEx, has developed the Haiti Aid Map to provide detailed project-level information on the work being done by nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in Haiti. The site—now live and linked to via the map below—can be browsed by location, sector, organization or project, and also features maps highlighting NGOs’ work on specific issues, such as cholera.
This map seeks to demonstrate the commitment of InterAction to transparency and accountability, while facilitating coordination and partnership development among the various actors working in Haiti. In addition, the map also highlights where current gaps in services exist so that potential donors can determine how best to get more involved in the Haiti recovery efforts.
