InterAction Announces the Appointment of Eight New Board Members

InterAction, the largest coalition of U.S.-based nongovernmental organizations engaged in international relief and development, added eight new members to its board of directors during the board’s April 18 meeting. The 29-member board consists of leadership within the relief and development community. The following individuals were approved for membership on the InterAction board of directors:

CEO, Life for Relief and Development
Elizabeth Latham
Executive Director, U.S. Committee for UNDP
Robert Radtke
President, Episcopal Relief and Development
Zainab Salbi
CEO, Women for Women International
Ron Sconyers
CEO, Physicians for Peace
Kathy Spahn
President and CEO, Helen Keller International
Tsehaye Teferra
President, Ethiopian Community Development Council
The new members replace outgoing board members Geeta Rao Gupta of the International Center for Research on Women; Lavinia Limon of the U.S.Committee for Refugees and Immigrants; Ruth Messinger of American Jewish World Service; Sarah Newhall of PACT; Ray Offenheiser of Oxfam America; Bill Reese of the International Youth Foundation; Leonard Rubenstein of Physicians for Human Rights; and the late John Schultz of Christian Children’s Fund, who sadly passed away after a long illness.
