Benefits of Senate Funding for FY2013 International Affairs Budget

This is a compilation of 17 fact sheets, researched and developed by Mercy Corps, that compare the impact of differing House and Senate funding levels for the International Affairs Budget in proposed fiscal year 2013 budgets. The fact sheets hone in on funding for initiatives related to global health (e.g. neglected tropical diseases, nutrition, malaria, family planning and reproductive health, maternal and child health), energy and environment, international disaster assistance, migration and refugee assistance, development assistance (e.g. water and sanitation, Feed the Future), USAID operating expenses and agricultural appropriations.

InterAction and our members are urging Members of Congress to support Senate funding levels for the International Affairs Budget in all budget negotiations.
