Event Description:

Please join us for an in-person brown bag discussion at InterAction on Wednesday, July 10, from 12:00-1:00. We will be sharing our experiences about what it means to be a young professional in the international development field. Several people who have been in the field for a few years will also be there for us to ask questions of. RSVP here (space is limited!).

More about these Young Professional's events:

During the 2013 InterAction Forum, nearly 100 young professionals from throughout the InterAction community gathered to engage with sector leadership and to learn from each other. The participants in the first annual Young Professional’s Summit of the Forum were introduced to cutting edge innovations in the sector, interacted with NGO CEOs and were challenged as future leaders.

The closing session of the day was a collaborative conversation among young professionals. The group discussed issues, shared stories and started to chart a path forward for young professionals in the international development space. These events are an initial response to the needs of the young professional community that were identified at that event. Our goal is to provide opportunities for inexpensive professional development that is convenient and accessible to any interested participants.

If you have suggestions for future events, or wish to be more engaged in the development of a formal young professional network, please contact us at lbrogan@interaction.org or ccarr@interaction.org.

Although these events are targeted at young professionals, we welcome any who wish to attend.
