The subject is a highly experienced international Security Manager and operational security officer currently based in Haiti, but also supporting other international sites such as Iraq, Ireland, Canada and France, providing specialist security advice and support to a variety of businesses, commercial projects and programmes as well as individuals. In addition to hands on operational support in hostile environments, the candidate provides a focal point for high profile and blue chip customers, managers and staff ensuring consistent and effective standards of information and advice is provided in line with defined security policy. He is a fluent French linguist and proactively drives improvements in security culture and awareness within the area of responsibility through, knowledge of security, significant experience and ability to communicate at all levels.
Further the subject has an established security management background of 24 years with a sound knowledge of the defence industry; security policies; and experience of ITSEC and COMSEC. He is approachable, adaptable and has the ability to motivate and drive change simultaneously. A good communicator he can also present to large audiences, provide reports for management review and be adaptable to change. He is a proactive person who enjoys working unsupervised and provides sound initiatives to improve the security culture and support the business by challenging and improving the established processes

Working Groups are a central part of the way InterAction supports and aids its members. Working Groups are first and foremost a place for member agencies to share information that is important to them in several ways:
- by providing a way for member organizations to share information about field-based issues, concerns, and topics;
- by serving as a place for members to receive training and to share best practices with each other; and
- by offering a space for members to develop new products and materials on a given topic.
Working Groups are member driven and supported by InterAction staff (with the exception of a few non-staffed working groups). Members identify an interest, issue area, or need around which they feel their collective voices will clarify or strengthen responses. Depending on the number of member organizations interested, a meeting or consultation is planned to explore the topic and allow members to share their issues and concerns. Such consultations or exploratory meetings may lead to the formation of an on-going Working Group.
