SEA EFT Workshop Facilitator Guide

Purpose

The Enhanced Facilitation Training (EFT) Module is aimed at trainers identified by their respective organizations to organize and facilitate trainings to their agency staff, volunteers, and partner organizations on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse. In addition to covering content and methods of training on the SEA Modules (Community-Based Complaints Mechanisms and SEA 101), the EFT module intends to provide tips and techniques to support facilitators in tailoring the sessions within the SEA Modules to specific target audiences.

This module recognizes that discussing SEA can be sensitive and difficult depending on the culture, context and individuals within a training workshop.  It requires skill and a level of understanding and sensitivity on the part of the facilitator to both facilitate discussion and support an atmosphere of learning.
