Matt Lorch

As the program associate for the Membership and Standards team, Matt assumes a variety of tasks related to supporting InterAction’s members, as well as event planning and external relations. For example, he plays an active role in orienting staff members from both new and current member organizations, maintains members' records, and coordinates the registration process for the annual Forum event. Matt completed undergraduate degrees in both English and French, as well as a graduate certificate in nonprofit management, at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Originally from Indiana and a returned Peace Corps volunteer who served in the Republic of Benin in West Africa, Matt has a variety of professional experience in the nonprofit, municipal government, and higher education sectors. Some of his interests include the sub-Saharan Africa and MENA regions, as well as refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), humanitarian action, education, and public health.
