Margot Bokanga

Margot is originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and grew up in Kinshasa. She has a B.A. in international relations from the James Madison College of Michigan State University and an M.A. in international peace and conflict resolution from American University. Her mix of internships and work experience includes work on trafficking with the Asian Partnership for Human Development in Bangkok and work with USIP on outreach to the Congolese diaspora. She has also worked with the Council on African Studies and Women for Women International. She is fluent in French and Lingala in addition to English.
