Delyse Lawless
Delyse joined InterAction as the Senior Program Associate in July 2013 and is responsible for various tasks involving member services, event planning, and external relations. More specifically, she coordinates the dues process and the workshop process for the annual InterAction Forum. With a strong desire to eliminate oppression and alleviate poverty by utilizing her communication skills, she has served as a Communication Coordinator for End Slavery Cincinnati (part of the Rescue and Restore Coalition), a Communication and Events Coordinator for Grace Chapel, an English teacher for Media Kids in Thailand, and volunteered with numerous organizations including the Salvation Army, Operation Esther Project, Women’s Crisis Center and various others.
Born in Colorado and raised in Ohio, Delyse has completed an M.A. in Communication and a graduate certificate in pedagogy from Northern Kentucky University. Throughout her career, she has gained professional experience in the nonprofit, corporate, and higher education sectors. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching communication at a local community college and encouraging students to get involved in the community.
