On November 15, InterAction’s Public Policy Committee held it's third foreign assistance advocacy day. InterAction members met with 13 House and Senate congressional offices, advocating for a robust international affairs budget that helps fund life-saving and poverty-reducing international affairs programming. InterAction later moderated a panel entitled “What Does a Budget Deal Mean for Foreign Assistance Impact”, featuring COO of CARE USA Heather Higgingbottom, President and CEO of Lutheran World Relief Ambassador Daniel Speckhard, and more.
