Adventist Development and Relief Agency International's Response to Ebola Crisis

Operational Summary:

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) International and its partners are responding to the Ebola crisis in Liberia and Sierra Leone. In both countries ADRA’s response includes a combination of providing medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) to local hospitals, along with education and counseling for victims and their families.

To date, ADRA has delivered almost $150,000 in medical supplies to Cooper Adventist Hospital in Monrovia and Waterloo Hospital in Freetown. ADRA Liberia is also conducting an extensive education and sensitization program to inform individuals about the spread of the disease and how to protect themselves from the virus. This includes hygiene and sanitation training as well.
