AmeriCares's Response to Hurricane Matthew Crisis

Operational Summary: 

Americares is delivering critically needed medicine and relief supplies for families in Haiti and the southern U.S. affected by Hurricane Matthew. In Haiti, Americares emergency response teams are supplying clinics and hospitals in devastated areas with basic medicines, including cholera treatment and prevention supplies. Americares mobile medical teams, staffed by Haitian doctors and nurses, are providing care in areas where health facilities are damaged or overwhelmed. In the first 30 days after the storm, Americares delivered more than $6 million in aid and treated more than 3,700 survivors.
