Catholic Relief Services's Response to Hurricane Matthew Crisis

Operational Summary:

Catholic Relief Services has been active in Haiti since 1954 with offices in some of the communities hardest hit by Hurricane Matthew including Les Cayes, Jeremie, and Jacmel. In the immediate aftermath of Matthew's landfall, CRS began distributing pre-positioned hygiene and sanitation kits, basic household and kitchen items, and food while arranging for the delivery of additional shelter materials. CRS' long presence in Haiti means that we will continue to work on long-term recovery and rebuilding in all areas, including agriculture.
