PCI's Response to Ebola Crisis

Operational Summary:

PCI has been on the ground fighting the Ebola epidemic in Liberia since the outbreak began in March, raising public awareness, training health care workers and providing desperately needed medical supplies. Using PCI’s extensive network of community groups throughout the country, more than 45,000 people have been educated on how to prevent the Ebola infection. The outbreak has been a shock to Liberia’s already fragile health care system, and PCI is working closely with the Liberian Ministry of Health to train workers about how to treat and prevent Ebola.
