A Review of Learning and Research Utilization at Mercy Corps

In recent years, Mercy Corps has invested significant resources towards the production of high quality evaluations and research, positioning itself as a research-driven, learning organization. Allocation of scarce resources demands greater capacity to learn, adopt and adapt lessons learned in evaluation and research. In light of this context, an assessment of how evaluation and research is accessed and utilized in Mercy Corps was conducted with an emphasis on key processes, enablers and constraints. This presentation by Anna Young of Mercy Corps and Brag Sagara of UC Berkeley was made during the first webinar in a learning and knowledge management webinar series. The webinar took place on May 21, 2015.
