G7 and G20 Documents

When G7 leaders meet in Taormina in May, it is imperative that they take action to address the needs of people in the world's poorest and most vulnerable countries. This policy paper contains the recommendations of the G7/G20 Advocacy Alliance, a group of 50 nongovernmental organizations, for the U.S. government to play a leading role in encouraging the G7 to take specific actions in the areas of food security and nutrition, global health, the refugee crisis, responsible business conduct, and women's economic empowerment.

Civil society is calling for the creation of a Regional Growth and Stabilization Plan to help those countries most affected by the Syrian refugee crisis to mitigate the impact of the crisis on their economies, health systems, and social services. We urge the G20 to support immediate action to respond to this crisis.
