Stand #WithSyria Global Vigil

Thursday, March 13, 2014 to Friday, March 14, 2014
Event Description:

Syria is the biggest humanitarian crisis of our day. Every day children, women and men in Syria are living through unspeakable horror. More than 40 percent of the population has been forced to flee their homes in fear. Over 100,000 people have been killed.

March 15, 2014 marks the third anniversary of the Syria crisis. Organizations and individuals worldwide, including InterAction, are coming together to shed light on the crisis and call for immediate and unfettered humanitarian access.

You can help.

Participate in the global vigil on March 13 by attending an in-person vigil, organizing one in your community, or getting involved on social media. Vigils so far are scheduled in cities in 30 countries worldwide.

Staff from InterAction and member organizations in Washington, DC will be attending the vigil at 3rd St. SW and Independence Ave. SW from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
