Forum 2016 Scholarship Program

We are pleased to announce the fifth year of our Forum Scholarship Fund.

This special fund is intended to provide a limited number of scholarships for InterAction member staff from the Global South and young professionals (<30 years) with career interests in international development to attend the Forum.

The fund is supported by Forum 2016 sponsoring organizations and attendees. Forum sponsors may designate 10% of their sponsorship toward the scholarship fund. Attendees may donate to the fund by indicating an amount to be added to their registration fee. InterAction scholarships do not cover travel expenses or incidentals for any awardees.

Application Process

InterAction member organizations are invited to submit applications for up to two individuals from the Global South no later than Feb. 19, 2016, for scholarship consideration. Scholarships for this category will cover the Forum registration fee and some or all of the cost of hotel accommodations. InterAction scholarships will not cover travel expenses or incidentals.

Young professionals based in the U.S. with a career interest in international development may be nominated by a member organization or may self-nominate. Applications must be submitted to InterAction by Feb. 19, 2016.  Scholarships in this category will cover the cost of Forum registration only.

Based on available funds, scholarships in both categories will be selected at random and awardees will be notified by Feb. 26, 2016.

Please submit the appropriate scholarship candidate form or questions about scholarships to Kristin Sadler.
