Keystone Human Services International

Keystone Human Services International (KHSI) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA, that provides services, programs, technical assistance, and support to improve the lives of individuals, children and families outside the United States. KHSI, with its parent company Keystone Human Services, has decades of experience in the development, licensing, and provision of high-quality community-based services for children and adults with disability. Keystone began in 1972 as a result of the recommendations of a task force that met to consider the development of community alternatives to institutionalization for people with mental health and intellectual disabilities.  Over the years, the organization has developed a comprehensive array of community-based services for children and adults who are at risk or who have special needs, including individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, physical disabilities, and life situations that put families at risk of dissolution or make children otherwise vulnerable to abuse and neglect.
