Global Health and the Future Role of the United States - Report Highlights

The Board on Global Health at The National Academy of Sciences has published a new report "Global Health and the Future Role of the United States." This report examines the changing landscape of global health and opportunities for the U.S. government, as well as nongovernmental orgnaizations and private sector, to improve responsiveness, coordination, and efficiency in their work. Finally, the report provides recommendations to the U.S. government on vital global health priorities and mechanisms by which global health engagement can be strengthened.
