InterAction’s Together Project creates a hub of advocacy and support for U.S.- based development and humanitarian NGOs confronting discrimination or targeted regulations that hinder their ability to function. The project enables information sharing; coalition building; education of NGO staff, policymakers and officials; and the development of strategies in response to shrinking in civil society space.

Founding organizations include: Islamic Relief USA; American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa (ARAHA); Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD); Zakat Foundation of America; United Muslim relief; and InterAction.

As part of the next stage in the initiative, we will be launching our Together Project Working Group to help address common issues facing U.S.-based NGOs.
