Electoral Security: Analytical Frameworks, Planning, & Admin (IPSI Practitioner Intensive)

Thursday, January 11, 2018 to Friday, January 12, 2018
Event Description:

As a practitioner or academic undertaking electoral security assessments, your objectives must be threefold: 1) to identify the vulnerabilities and early warning factors which hold the potential to trigger electoral violence; 2) to profile the historical electoral conflict dynamics in each phase of the electoral cycle; and 3) to create a framework of activities assigned by stakeholder to prevent, manage, or mediate the threats identified in the assessment. This two-day course will provide participants with core frameworks and theories, while challenging the group to practice real-world application through experiential exercises and simulations. - Taught by Dr. Jeff Fischer
