Caitlin St. Amour
Caitlin St. Amour joined Interaction as a Program Associate for the Global Development, Policy, and Learning Team in November of 2020. She brings valuable NGO and Capitol Hill experience and in this role provides support to policy and advocacy workstreams, including InterAction’s Children and Youth Initiative.
After years of studying U.S. foreign policy, Caitlin has found her passion for advocating on behalf of children and youth. She is excited to delve into each of the multifaceted issues that affect the development of young people around the world. Prior to joining InterAction full-time, Caitlin interned with the GDPL Team, assisting the food security and climate workstreams. Following her time at InterAction in the fall of 2019, she interned in Congresswoman Madeleine Dean’s office. As a legislative intern, she worked closely with policy related to the environment, healthcare, and foreign relations.
A native of Virginia, Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and Media Studies from the University of Virginia, where she was involved in local politics and the student newspaper. In her free time, Caitlin can be found exploring D.C.’s museums and restaurants.
