Denise Stone joined InterAction as Manager, Meetings and Community Engagement in February 2017. She is a meetings professional with a background in member services and has over ten years of meeting and event management experience. She is responsible for organizing Forum, InterAction’s annual conference, and InterAction’s annual CEO retreat. She also manages the Julia Taft Conference Center, InterAction’s in-house conference facility.
Prior to joining InterAction, Denise led the annual conference for RESNA, the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America. She has organized conferences for agriculture, renewable energy, and retail associations. She is active in the meetings industry and is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
Denise is from Northern Virginia, where she currently resides with her husband. She studied business administration at Northern Virginia Community College and has earned her certified meeting professional (CMP) and certified exhibition manager (CEM) credentials.
